The reasons of concrete cracks in concrete lining are classified into external force or others.In general, combining multiple surveys to find overall evaluation will be conducted in order to understand the cause. According to an internal guideline in C-NEXCO, a study for tunnel lining includes “measurement of crack-depth” as one of the elements to estimate the cause of deformation. This study will examine the relationship between width and depth of concrete cracks of tunnels in the Shin-Tomei expressway opened in 2012 (H14).
