[VI-442] Differences in Rock Adhesion Characteristics Depending on Grouting Material of Face Bolt
Keywords:face bolt, grout, pull-test, pulling resistance
Grouts for face bolts that are expected to stabilize the face of mountain tunnels include cement-based mortar and urethane-based silica resin. It is generally known that the difference in the filling material causes a difference in the fixing effect of the bolt. During the construction of the Yoshinomoto Tunnel in Higashi Kyushu Expressway, a test was conducted to determine the anchoring characteristics of the face bolts due to differences in grouts.
This paper introduces the outline of the pull-test of the face bolt and the obtained fixing properties for each grout material.
