[VI-572] A study on the aging of metal noise insulation plates

In NEXCO, we are studying the aging of noise barriers and the renewal criteria for the purpose of renewal planning. In this report, I focused on the metal noise insulation plate, which is the main component for noise barrier, and studied the secular change of its acoustic performance. It was confirmed that the acoustic performance satisfies the initial performance standard even after 40 years if the appearance of the metal plate is relatively good. It was shown that the secular change in the acoustic performance of the metal plate can be evaluated by conducting an investigation of the appearance and the like based on the maintenance inspection procedure prescribed by NEXCO.
