Since the Yaga Overpass is built above the Shinkansen base, high-quality construction is required for long-sized PC bridges with less than 150 m span lengths, which have little track record in Japan, while paying attention to safety such as falling equipment.This paper reports on the quality and safety issues and countermeasures considered for the Yaga Overpass.
