The authors have developed a quantitative evaluation technique of weathering and cracks using image analysis of face images and a strength evaluation technique by drilling data , with the aim of preventing rock falling accident . In addition, we have developed a system that sends a signal to the operator when the design thickness of shotcret using a laser distance meter while monitoring and collecting shotcreting data. In this paper, we compare and analyze the ground evaluation data collected with these evaluation techniques from the excavation tunnel and the rock falling situation at the time of blast hole drilling, and evaluate the risk of rock falling using logistic regression.
