[S02C-02] Verification of Eigenvalue Analysis of Solid Vibration by Using Specific Modes

In this paper, an eigenvalue problem possessing solvable solutions is presented for verification of a free vibration analysis of elasticity. A homogenous and isotropic elastic material and cylindrical domain are employed and stationary modes of P-wave are considered as specific eigenmodes of vibration. This setting allows us to find analytical solutions, which can be used in code verification.
