[S03A-06] Tilting Damage Suppression Effects of Existing Small Scale Structure during Liquefaction using Floating Grid-type Improvement
Keywords:Countermeasure against liquefaction, grid-type improvement, soil improvement
In recent years, liquefaction damage of detached houses due to large-scale earthquake has become serious. Until now, authors have proposed a method to reduce the settlement damage of existing small scale structures using impermeable floating grid-type improvement. In this paper, the effect of floating grid-type improvement on tilting damage during liquefaction was investigated using eccentric model structure. Experimental results showed that it is difficult to mitigate tilting damage only with floating grid-type improvement which mainly aims to suppress lateral flow.
