This study conducted to investigate the performances of the bridge vibration damping and the power generation for the RIMD (Rotating Inertial Mass Damper) device due to a moving vehicle on the road bridge using the dynamic response analysis. As the results of the simulation, it was clarified that a large bridge vibration damping and power generation effect could be obtained by using the RIMD device.
