[S04B-01] A Study on the Periodicity of the Characteristic Flow Structures at the Sites of Water Accidents

In this study, the periodicity of the characteristic flow structures that can be observed in the several sites where the water accidents were frequently occurredwas investigated. On these sites, the following typical structures were observed; rapids, constrictions, sinusoidal shear flows, and recirculating flow generated by the reattachment of the shear flow. By the results of numerical calculations, the longest period was observed at the region of recirculation flow.
