Keywords:Multi-agent model, Evacuation simulation, Tsunami, Virtual Reality
This paper presents a disaster evacuation system for Tsunami based on the multi agent model. This system consists of three parts, the modeling for the land and building information using GIS data, the analysis of disaster evacuation using multi agent model, and the visualization for the numerical results using the virtual reality technique. The effect of setting of input data, such as the distance of between nodes and the tsunami information. The present system is applied to the area where the Nankai Trough earthquake and is shown to be a useful tool for disaster mitigation measures and education.
