[2C21-25-01] Meso-Scale Numerical Experiment of Reinforced Concrete Beam with Realistic Shaped Aggregates

Three-dimensional numerical experiments of reinforced concrete beams are carried out in meso-scale. The meso-scale concrete model reflects the geometry and distribution of coarse aggregates. The non-linear finite element analysis with a damage model is used for simulating the fracture behavior in concrete. The numerical results show good agreements with actual test results.
