This paper deals with a problem of causality during interaction of point-like scatteres by means of the Foldy model. We investigate the distribution of eigenvalues of the operator of the scattering model on the complex frequency plane. We show that the eigenvalues on a lower half-plane disturbs the causality of the scattered wave field.
