ロングレール軌道を対象に，日陰の移動下における中立温度分布の挙動について検討する．そのために，まず一定のレール温度分布パターンが一定速度で移動し，且つ道床縦抵抗力を剛塑性および弾性とした両ケースを対象に，定常理論解を導出する．次に，日々の気温変化と太陽輻射熱やレール・空気間の熱移動を考慮したレール温度解析法と，道床縦抵抗力を弾塑性履歴モデルで与えた軌道ふく進解析法を有限要素法により構成し，理論解との比較などを通して日陰の移動が中立温度分布特性に及ぼす影響について検討する．
