The final goal of this study is to perform seepage flow analysis in the ground using GIMP for both solids and fluids, and this study proposes a numerical analysis method for fluids as a preliminary step. The formulation proposed in this study does not require any special treatment of the free surface and can suppress the occurrence of clustering. As a benchmark test, the well-known dam-break problem was solved to confirm the validity of the proposed method.
