CFRP bonded repair is one of the repair methods for corrosion-damaged steel tubes. This study applied the shear lag theory to CFRP-bonded steel tube with cross-sectional loss to derive the shared bending moments in steel tube and CFRP. The results of the theoretical analysis agreed with the finite element analysis. The bending test results tended to be close to the theoretical analysis.
