This study examines the effects of different particle-grid transfer schemes on incompressible fluid analyses by stabilized implicit Material Point Method (MPM). Stabilized implicit MPM with several transfer schemes, i.e., Particle-in-Cell (PIC), Fluid-Implicit Particle (FLIP), and Taylor Particle-in-Cell (TPIC) was applied to two numerical examples. The results showed that TPIC improves the accuracy and stability of free-surface shape and velocity profile.
