[23001-06-02] The soil runout analysis of slope considering strain softening (Proceedings of Symposium on Applied Mechanics)
Keywords:Soil Runout Analysis, Strain Softening, Material Point Method
Strain softening is essential for modeling the behavior of many geomaterials in the post-peak region. In the study, landslide behavior after failure is mainly discussed from the viewpoint of strain softening. In this paper, combined with the Drucker-Prager constitutive model, the strain softening of geomaterial was introduced for the material point method, and the following results were obtained. Strain softening not only affects the stability of the slope, but also affects the post-failure stage. When the cohesion is small, the softening stiffness has little effect on the runout characteristics of the post-failure slope.
