[23018-22-01] Damage Estimation of Concrete by Infrared Image with Heat Balance Analysis (Proceedings of Symposium on Applied Mechanics)
Keywords:Heat balance analysis, Infrared image, Concrete
infrared thermography, which detects thermal anomalies caused by damage in concrete, is a useful index for diagnosing concrete structures. It is known that thermal anomalies obtained from infrared images have different detection characteristics depending on the service environment and weather. In this study, we clarified the relationship between heat conduction characteristics and surface temperature due to weather conditions such as solar radiation, wind speed, temperature, and internal damage by heat balance analysis. It was confirmed that the heat balance model can reproduce the surface temperature trend of concrete with high accuracy. The effect of the position and thickness of internal defects on the surface temperature trend was discussed. Using the obtained heat balance model, the surface temperature trend of the infrared image obtained from the actual structure was verified.
