[24013-18-06] Quantitative evaluation of steel plate girder bridge point cloud acquired in on-site measurement (Proceedings of Symposium on Applied Mechanics)

In this study, the point cloud measurement using laser scanner was carried out on a steel plate girder bridge, and qualitative and quantitative evaluations of the obtained point cloud were carried out with motivation of FE modeling of existing bridge from the point cloud. The evaluation indices were the presence of defects, geometric accuracy, density and surface deviation which were used in previous study. As a result, errors due to noise of a few millimeters were observed, but there were no deficiencies in the main components and overall, the data was clean.
