【略歴】
Dr. Sisodia is the Thomas Reynolds Sr. Family Professor of Neurosciences at The University of Chicago. His laboratory has employed biochemical, cellular and molecular approaches to understand the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease in mouse models, and has shown the gut microbiome plays a critical role in modulation of Aβ amyloidosis and neuroinflammation. He is the recipient of the Potamkin Prize and the Metropolitan Life Foundation Award for Medical Research, and is a Fellow of AAAS, and Foreign Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India and the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences.
