本学に入学する学生の多くは自動車に大きな関心を持っているが、機械類を自分の手で取扱った経験は少なく、エンジンの実習を行った場合に根本的な理解が出来ない。そこで、事前にミニエンジンで実感をともなう教育を実施することで、教育の質向上を検討した。
