[PSY-2] Targeting BCL-2 in chronic lymphocytic leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia
Dr. Daniel Pollyea received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He stayed at the University of Chicago Hospital for his residency training in internal medicine, and spent a year as Chief Medical Resident at Cook County Hospital. He completed his fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Stanford University, where he also earned a Masters degree in Epidemiology. He joined the faculty at the University of Colorado Division of Hematology in 2011 and was appointed the Clinical Director of Leukemia Services. His interests involve clinical and translational research involving leukemia stem cells, specifically developing novel therapies that target this population. He has over 60 peer reviewed publications, and funding from the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
