【略歴】
Prof. Kagayaki Kuroda received bachelor's degree in 1984 and master's in 1986 from Kobe University, Japan. After he worked as a satellite communication system engineer in NEC Corporation during 1986-1988, he became a research associate at Osaka City University and got PhD in 1992. From 1995 to 1996, he was a visiting researcher in Radiology, Harvard Medical School. In 1999, he joined Tokai University, became a professor in 2010, and is currently the Dean of School of Information Science and Technology. He is the President of the Japanese Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (JSMRM), the former President of the Asian Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ASMRM). He awarded Senior Fellow in International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) in 2016. His research interests are MR thermometry, interventional MR, visualization of neurofluid dynamics, and MR safety.
