Call for Abstracts
Submission Time: 17 April - 17 June 2023
General Rules for Abstract Submission:
- You first need to register as a participant and make payment, then submit your abstracts. Payment is not required to submit abstracts.
- Authors and co-authors must be a member of JSOSE or EAASP. For information on how to be a member of JSOSE, visit the website (https://jsose.jp/) or contact us.
- Please submit abstracts using the submission form by clicking the button below.
- All abstracts need to be submitted and presented in English or Japanese.
- Each first author is limited to selecting one submission type either oral presentation, poster, or e-poster.
- The title of your presentation should be within 30 words. ((or 100 characters in Japanese).)
- The submission should contain a maximum of 400 words in English (or 800 characters in Japanese).
- The number of co-authors is limited to 10 persons per abstract.
The announcement of abstract acceptance
The announcement of abstract acceptance shall be informed by email on the 15th of July 2023.
Submission Types
ⅰ. Oral presentations (English/Japanese)
Each presenter will be provided with a 10-minute presentation time, plus 5 minutes for questions.

ⅱ. Posters (English/Japanese)
Posters should be printed in A0 size (1189 x 841 mm). You can display your posters from 9 am on Saturday to 1 pm on Sunday. Each presenter should be prepared to discuss and answer questions during their presentations (Sunday, 14:30-16:00). If you are unable to be present during the poster session, we recommend you choose oral or e-poster presentations. You may wish to take your posters home after the presentation. Posters will be discarded at 5 pm on Sunday.
ⅲ. e-Posters (English/Japanese)
Save your poster as an electronic file (jpeg, jpg, png) and upload it to the online conference system. Participants can browse your posters on screens located in the conference venue or on their own devices. You do not have to be present in the poster session. However, a contact email address must be provided to open questions.
