受賞業績:
氏は,独自開発のStep法を用いて単磁区粒子,多磁区粒子,着磁にて単磁区化する多磁区粒子の区別に成功するなど,磁区構造の解析を中心に研究してこられ,永久磁石における保磁力機構の明確化に寄与した.また,ThMn12型構造磁性化合物でも精度よく磁気特性を測定する手法を開発し,Nd‐Fe‐B系磁石を超える磁気特性を示す組成域を見出した.これらの研究業績は学術分野のみならず産業界の発展に大きく貢献した.
