[2Ap01] The optical measurement of planetary atmosphere and plasmas
There are two methos for space observations in general. One is using ground-based large telescopes and the other is using flying object such as satellite and sounding rocket. In this presentation, the scientific importance of the observation of planetary atmosphere or plasma from spacecraft and their advantages are discussed. In addition, the status of technological innovations and development on the design of onboard equipment, which is used for ultraviolet observation will be introduced, using several exploration missions that have actually been launched as examples.
