[2Fa07] The electronic structure of PdCu surface alloy

For safe hydrogen use, sufficient management is required for hydrogen storage and transport in all situations. Pd, which is one of the hydrogen storage metals, has an excellent catalytic action in the hydrogenation reaction, and is expected to further improve the hydrogen properties, especially by alloying with Cu. However, the detailed mechanism of hydrogen storage in PdCu alloy is still unclear. Therefore, In the present study, we have investigated the atomic and electronic structure of PdCu surface alloy using angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy.
