[2P13S] Study of large Barkhausen jump in laminated magnetic thin films
When torsional stress is applied to a ferromagnetic wire, a large Barkhausen jump appears in the magnetic properties. This pulse voltage generated by the large Barkhausen effect has a feature that a pulse waveform is constant regardless of the rate of change of the excitation magnetic field. The purpose of this study is to develop the large bulk Barkhausen jump in thin films by fabricating magnetic laminated thin films with different coercive forces. Therefore, we have fabricated magnetic thin films which has a laminated structure comprising layers with semi-hard and soft magnetic properties. This time, we observed the pulse voltage due to the Barkhausen jump in the sample we prepared.
