[3P17S] Local structure analysis of Sr₂IrO₄ around oxygen using photoelectron holography

In the layered perovskite-type structure of Sr₂IrO₄, two components were observed in the XPS spectrum of O 1s. Different photoelectron holograms were obtained from each peak, suggesting that there is a difference in the structure around the oxygen.We speculate that this is due to the oxygen at the apex of the IrO₆ Octahedron (SrO layer) and the oxygen in the IrO₂ facet (IrO₂ layer). In our presentation, we will report the detailed analysis and results of these studies.
