[3P26S] Development of the hemispherical-cavity-type cobalt electrocatalysts for water splitting and its functional elucidation by operando XAFS
The development of highly efficient catalysts for water electrolysis has been widely promoted. As an example, it was reported that cobalt carbonate (Co-Ci) catalyst shows high oxygen production activity. Therefore, in this study, we developed a hemispherical cavity type Co-Ci catalyst using a particle transfer method to improve the catalytic activity by controlling the catalyst surface in a few hundred nm. In addition, characterization by SEM and EDX and operando XAFS observations clarified the function of the catalyst.
