[34-03] Electrosorption for Lithium Recovery from Brine

It was confirmed through the experiments that activated carbons could recover lithium from brine. Lithium could be adsorbed from precipitated sample better than from brine sample. Lime could precipitate all Mg in the sample. The highest Li adsorption density and recovery were at 35 V/0.70 A with 1.1 mg/g and 10% respectively. The optimum pH and contact time for Li recovery from precipitated sample were pH 10 and 30minutes respectively with 1.4 mg/g as Li adsorption density and 9% as recovery.
