[Em-01-6] Utility of CT perfusion in acute ischemic stroke in Asia

Asian countries are the emerging area of the world not only in economy and culture, but also neurology and neurosceince. This symposium focuses on several neurology topics especially emerging areas of neurology in the emerging Asian countries. Session 1 will focus on Stroke and the Neurosciences with world famous neuroogists and neuroscientists from Asia and USA. Session 2 will focus on Dementia and stem cell therapy with world famous neuroogists and neuroscientists again from Asia and USA.

Dr. Yohanna Kusuma is currently working as Consultant Neurology and the Head of Hyperacute Stroke Services and Neurosonology at National Brain Centre Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia.

She graduated from University of Indonesia as a Neurologist in 2007, then attended fellowship training in Neurosonology, Clinical Stroke and Research Fellow at National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital 2008-2008 as well as National University Hospital in 2011-2013. She is currently a PhD student at Deakin University, Australia.

She is certified in Neurosonology from World Federation of Neurology The Neurosonology Research Group (WFN-NSRG) in 2009 and American Society of Neuroimaging (ASN) in 2013. Her main interests are in stroke, thrombolysis, and neurosonology. She has published numerous papers, book, and invited to speak in multiple stroke meetings.
