Progress in functional neuroimaging in dementia

[HT-07-2] Recent advancement in our understanding of pathological basis of dementia brought by Tau PET

認知症の画像診断は，早期検出および鑑別診断上からも不可欠なものとなってきている。MRIなどの形態診断法に加え，脳血流SPECTなどの機能画像診断法が役立っている。今後の認知症の画像診断においては，その早期検出や鑑別診断に加え，治療効果や予後判定に役立つことが大切である。その意味で病態の解明のみならず抗認知症薬などの創薬，あるいは治療効果の判定に活用できるバイオマーカーを用いた新しい画像診断法である分子イメージングに対し大きな期待がもたれている。本シンポジウムでは、①アミロイドPETと病理像の対比，②タウPET, ③グリオーシスPET, ④ニコチン受容体PET, ⑤MRIによるアミロイド斑の描出，について第一線で活躍されている先生方に講演していただき、認知症における脳機能画像の進歩について議論したい。
