[4S03a] NEURO2022 - Organized Symposium
Cutting-edge research led by clinical psychiatrists

Sun. Jul 3, 2022 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Room 3 (Conference Building B1 (Okinawa Convention Center))

Chair: MANABU MAKINODAN, Kenji Tanaka

Collaboration between basic and clinical research is necessary to elucidate the true pathophysiology of psychiatric disorders, and in recent years, attempts have been made to encourage the interchange between them. However, at present, there are not many opportunities for clinical psychiatrists to present their works at either the Japan Neuroscience Society, the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry, Japanese Neural Network Society. Therefore, this symposium will bring together up-and-coming clinical psychiatrists conducting biological psychiatric research that is highly useful to basic researchers, and hopefully lead to collaborative research between basic and clinical research.
