Prof. Sarangerel Jambal graduated from Martin-Luther University Halle/Wittenberg (1985-1991), Germany and completed her neurology residency at the neurological clinic of the University of Halle, Germany (1991-1999). In her time in Halle, Germany she had multiple sclerosis fellowship under Prof. Schmidt (1991-1993) and later neuromuscular disorders fellowship under Prof. Stephan Zierz at Martin-Luther University Halle (1995-1999). She was conferred on the medical doctorate in the field of transcranial Duplexsonography in the Martin-Luther University, Germany.
Prof. Sarangerel Jambal gives her best to improve the professional knowledge and skills of Mongolian neurologists, started neurovascular ultrasound courses, courses for neurophysiological diagnostics in Mongolia. In last 20 years she organized plenty of domestic and international training courses, conferences working together with the WFN and German neurologists and researchers.
Research interests: neuromuscular disorders, neurocognitive disorders, neuromyelitis optica.
She wrote textbooks in neuroinfections, peripheral neurological diseases, neurocognitive disorders and stroke for neurologists and residents and processed several clinical guidelines.
