Cellular vehicle to everything (C-V2X) communication is growing technology which aims to initially provide driving assistance services for driving safety. C-V2X is expected to be evolved to offer wider range of services, e.g., advanced driving support for autonomous driving and tele-operation for vehicles. 3GPP has a plan to specify 5G New Radio (NR) based V2X specification in release 16 which provides enhanced reliability for V2X. In Japan potential spectrum and new radio interface is under investigation targeting to provide advanced V2X services.
