[TuB1-3] Long-Haul Repeatered Transmission Using Distributed Raman Ring Laser Amplification with Second-Order Bidirectional Pumping

We propose a distributed Raman ring laser amplification scheme for long-haul optical transmission. The proposed configuration is confirmed to improve the transmission performance compared with a conventional first-order backward pumping scheme in DP-QPSK coherent transmission.
