[TuP4-C13] Enhanced Photoluminescence of Bi/Er Co-doped Fiber by Quenching and Cooling under 830 nm Pumping

The quenching and cooling effects upon luminescence of Bi/Er co-doped fiber (BEDF) have been investigated. The bismuth related luminescence has significantly been enhanced by quenching and cooling with generation of new luminescent centers.
