[TuP4-F9] A Frequency-doubling Optoelectronic Oscillator Using SBS-based Frequency Shift and Selective Amplification in Two Fibers
Keywords:Microwave photonics, RF over optical processing and transmission, Fiber based switching and nonlinear optical processing
An optoelectronic oscillator using simulated Brillouin scattering based frequency shift and selective amplification in two fibers is experimentally demonstrated. A 21.54-GHz microwave oscillation is generated. The phase noise is measured to be –76dBc/Hz @10kHz offset.
