[TuP4-G2] SNR Improvement of Picosecond Optical Pulse by ASE Noise Suppression for High Resolution OTDR in IoT

We experimentally demonstrated ASE noise suppression effect for less than several picoseconds probe pulse in OTDR. The experimental result shows the intensity noise of back scattering light from test fibers is improved approximately 1 dB.
