This paper analyzes the performance of a commercially available wavelength-tunable laser for developing a large-scale (1,424×1,424) optical circuit switch intended for datacenter/HPC applications. The dynamic BER transitions of 100-Gbps DP-QPSK signals clarify the device feasibility.
