[WF1-2] Photonic Digital-to-Analog Conversion Based on Blue Chirp Spectral Slicing Using a Quantum-Dot SOA

We propose a photonic digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) based on frequency chirp using a quantum-dot semiconductor optical amplifier and following blue-shift filtering. We experimentally demonstrate 10-Gbps all-optical binary-to-quaternary conversion for DACs.
