[WP4-B11] Reduction of Computational-Complexity of Volterra Series Transfer Function and Artificial Neural Network for Compensation of Optical Nonlinear Waveform Distortion

We investigated Volterra kernels and ANN parameters which contribute to optical nonlinearity compensation. The results revealed that about 80% of Volterra kernels can be removed without degrading the compensation capability in 100-km SSMF transmission.
