【ねらい】
けいれん重積状態は，小児救急医療の中で高頻度に遭遇する症候であり，速やかにかつ安全に対応することが求められている．しかし，従来の治療指針は海外の知見をもとに現場の裁量で判断している部分が大きく，日本での治療薬選択肢などの実情を踏まえた，共通の見解が得られているとは言えない点があった．初期治療から難治性病態に至る治療ステージに対応した治療指針について，小児神経学会ガイドライン策定委員会で作成したガイドラインに基づいて，現状と課題について解説する．
