Sat. Jun 17, 2017 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM Room No.8 (10F Conference Room 1006-1007)

[Aim]
The clinical picture of cerebral palsy changes along with time. With the improved survival rate of preterm infants, periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) attracted an attention in the 1990 's. However, in the 21st century, PVL has declined and kernicterus of preterm infants is increasing. Brain lesions of kernicterus are not easy to read unlike PVL. Therefore, kernicterus tends to remain undiagnosed. This symposium aims to disseminate recent findings of kernicterus of preterm infants, introduce the present state of preventive and therapeutic methods, and broadly share teem.
