[Aim]
Epilepsy is a chronic condition impacting the development of children from infancy through adolescence. These children with epilepsy are at considerable risk of developing psychopathologies, for example, ADHD, ASD, LD, DCD, depression, and anxiety. These conditions may influence the QOL of the patients and result in the indelible stigma. However, they have been underestimated even by clinical epilepsy specialists. The aim of this symposium is to survey these comorbid psychiatric conditions so that we can manage the children with epilepsy comprehensively followed by improvement of QOL of these children.
