【企画・趣旨のねらい】
小児神経疾患の中で先天性代謝異常症はしばしば鑑別疾患として重要な位置を占めるのみならず,いくつかの疾患はその神経症状に対する根本治療法が開発されており,診断することにより治療の可能性が出てくるという意味で理解が望まれる疾患群と言える.本シンポジウムは神経症状を呈する先天性代謝異常症の中で,いくつかの治療法が開発されてきた疾患を取り上げて,その治療戦略について概説し,それを考える上での診断の意義や今後の課題について参加者と一緒に考えるシンポジウムを企画した.
