[LEDIA4-01] Dependence of stray light in monolithic GaInN-based μLED arrays on sapphire substrate thickness

Stacked GaInN-based monolithic LED arrays are expected to be applied to AR/VR displays because of their high integration and high brightness.Therefore, it is necessary to take appropriate countermeasures against stray light. In this study, we investigated the dependence of stray light on sapphire substrate thickness. As a result, we confirmed that changing the sapphire substrate film thickness of the elements causes a large difference in stray light patterns.
