[OMC9-03] Circular dichroism of chiral plasmonic nanoparticles dispersed in solution grown by circularly polarized light

In this study, we report on the chirality of a dispersion of gold nanorods with silver grown on the surface (AuNR@Ag) by circularly polarized light. The AuNR@Ag dispersions synthesized by left and right circularly polarized light showed circularly dichroism spectra that were roughly symmetrical to each other. Since the AuNR@Ag are dispersed in solution, the result suggest that three-dimensional chiral silver nanostructures have grown on the AuNR.
