[TILA-LIC4-01(Invited)] Large core diameter crystal waveguide - a new device for high brightness solid-state lasers

Large core diameter crystal waveguides are composed of all crystal materials such as yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG), which have better thermodynamic and optical properties than glass fibers. The large core diameter waveguide has a large fundamental mode field area, which has extremely high-power expansion potential, providing a new approach for the development of high brightness solid-state lasers.
